4 Track Minds

So those of you that don't know us we are two food junkies who love going on adventures for new food, new places for the usual food, and we turn just about any other adventure/roadtrip into a new food adventure. We LOVE food and don't discriminate. We will take in suggestions, ideas, new places no matter how far away it is or how strange the place. Stay tuned because we will be posting new places, old places, the best cheapest parking nearby, the best times to go to avoid the long lines and the freshest ingredients if thats an issue. We will also try our best to accommodate those with special needs such as our vegetarian friends *cough adam and bri cough* by finding something for you too, but.............. no promises :P We have a rating system similar to the 5 star or 4 star rankings, for us if the restaurant stole the attention of all 4 tracks of our minds then thats the best 4 track- almost orgasmic 3 track- great but have had better 2 track- alright and will go again if there's no other choice 1 track- we're telling you this so you don't go here unless its a dire situation. $- pretty darn cheap you'll go to this place when you're in a hurry and don't have alot of money $$- decent price if you feel like eating out but don't want to spend the big bucks but feel like a full and tasty meal $$$- When you want a nice night out, really good food and pricey but darn well worth it.

New Years Resolution Update…

So just thought I’d update those curious ones out there wondering what food places we have knocked off our list for the year 2011. First we wanted to clarify the rules: Due to Evan being on the Moorpark College Volleyball team and needing to eat with the team when they travel, he is allowed to eat multiple times at a place BUT only if the team has to go there. So if the team stops at Chipotle after the game for dinner and they stop there again, that’s ok because we aren’t going to make him starve. If however he gets back to school and some of the guys say “hey ev lets go grab some TB…” If he goes and buys something ta ta see yea later Taco Bell.

We also added the rule that if our parents say 3 amigos is what’s for dinner, we don’t pay and didn’t suggest the place, then we don’t have to cross it off the list. It’s only when we decide to go and pay for the meal ourselves. It would be pretty rude of us and difficult if we were invited over for dinner to someone’s house and said “Oh nope sorry can’t eat this pizza; we’ve already eaten at this place.” The whole point of the resolution was to save money so we weren’t eating out everyday. We still are trying to make sure we only go to each place once even if our parents pay so it’s more challenging for us.

So, the ones we’ve crossed off our list so far are:

1. Chipotle

2. Philippes

3.Sharkey’s

4. Winner’s Pizza

5. Sushi Co.

and others, but I’m drawing a blank haha

The worst so far is the lack of coke. The only time we really seem to miss fast food is when we are starving and no where near home to make something. That’s when it gets hard, but other than that we are holding strong. :)

More to come…
