Pancho Lopez Mexican Cuisine (Los Angeles, Ca)
Due to this New Years resolution, we are forced to be creative about where we go for meals. One night last week, we knew that we wanted to go out, but where! Tiff came up with a place she saw one day while getting gas in the San Fernando Valley. It’s name, Pancho Lopez Mexican Cuisine. The location is so new that they have no permanent sign up on the building; only a banner. Despite already having grafetti outside, the place was very cleaned, although cramped, but filled with great pictures and bright mexican colors.
We had our choice to sit where ever by our soon to be waiter who came over almost immediately asking if we would like chips, salsa, and guacamole (which is one of our weaknesses.) With the size and look of the place, the fact it was a “sit down” restaurant totally threw me off, but not in a bad way. The guacamole was VERY fresh and for it being close to 9pm, having fresh guacamole with no discoloration or lack of pop was amazing. The salsa was fresh as well along with a spicy salsa incase you want to spice things up.

We looked at the menu and both of us were happy with what we saw. It had a variety of items you would see in a small taco shack and things you’d see in a nice mexican restaurant. With combination plates with all kinds of seafood and a collection of burritos, it would take you all month to try every one.
The service was fast, the food was very tasty, very fresh and very appealing.
