5 Guys Burgers and Fries COMING SOON to T.O.!!

In n Out’s burgers are about to have some competition as 5 Guys moves in to Thousand Oaks. Although two completely different burgers, their high quality and great taste will have them in a guaranteed neck and neck battle fighting for customers.
While In-n-Out is known as one of the best burgers in California and thousands of tourists are amazed when they try it, 5 Guys is one of the best burgers on the East. Sweeping the nation it has reached the West, but will it stand a chance??
Similar to In-n-Out, they specialize in burgers (but have hot dogs too) and that’s the jist of their menu. So if you aren’t in the mood for a burger, this isn’t the place for you.
As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed with the option of free peanuts while you wait in line or while you wait for your food to be ready. Who doesn’t love free peanuts?! As you approach the board, you may be amazed as to how many different options you have to dress your burger. Anything from green peppers, grilled onions, mushrooms, BBQ sauce (to name a few) to A1 sauce AND they are all FREE!!** You can have any or all toppings they have listed! They also are a little tricky for first timers because their regular burger is actually two patty’s compared to their “baby burger” with just one patty.

Another similarity 5 Guys has to In-n-Out is the two different options for their fries. Aside from their regular fries, you also have the option at 5 Guys to get your fries cajun style. It has a similar taste to seasoned fries and it’s only a couple cents more; WORTH IT! Their fries are meant for sharing so if you get a regular it will be perfect for two people, possibly even three and their large will feed at least 3-4 people.
SO although In-n-Out might always be your favorite because you don’t want to feel like you are betraying them, at least try 5 Guys and you can just silently admit that they are delicious. It’s located right next to El Torito on Moorpark Road and will be opening soon, so make sure to keep an eye out for the doors to be open!
Note** My mom basically got all the toppings because she was so excited and the burger was just a little bit bigger than her mouth, just a little bit.
